Cara Romano is a Cleveland-based visual artist and teacher originally from Oberlin. She began her art education under the esteemed Lorna Kretchmar at Oberlin High School and went on to study at the University of Chicago and Ohio University. She has been involved with FAVA since childhood, attending classes and workshops as a student and teaching a few herself. Cara now teaches Drawing and Painting at Cuyahoga Community College. She enjoys working in watercolor, ink, collage, and pastel. She also makes jewelry and has a background in sculpture and Art History. Besides teaching art, Cara has also worked in museums and galleries in a curatorial role. She is very excited to be a featured artist in this year's Chalk Walk!
